Miku is a young and ambitious Artist, Designer and Prop Maker. His experience
includes stage and film prop design and construction, sculpture, fine art,
paintings, costume design, and make-up.
Miku is a dual citizen of the United States and Sweden.
He was born on September 9, 1987 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He has
lived in Sweden for the past 22 years.
His passion for creating art started ever since Miku could hold a color crayon.
As a young artist, he is fortunate to have had many opportunities to travel
and show his artwork throughout the world.
Miku attended a Basic Arts program at Bregordsskolan High School in Karlskoga,
Sweden before moving to Goteborg, Sweden. In Goteborg he attended
KV Konstskola (KV Art School). During his studies there Miku found an
interest incosmetology, make-up and manicure treatments. He then became
a licensed professional Nail Technician and Instructor at
Göteborg Nail School Vastra Frolunda Sweden.
After working in the beauty profession, Miku returned to school at
Domen Konstskolan (Art School) in Goteborg to earn a Fine Arts Degree.
After his graduation in 2012, Miku moved to Skelleftea, Sweden where
he worked during the summer as a Prop Master for the company,
Happyfiction making a STV (Swedish Television) Children's TV Series called, Skrotarna.
Miku is currently living in Skelleftea and attends LTU - Luleå University of Technology
where he is enrolled in an Attributmakare Master's program (Prop Maker, Set Designer,
Special Effects and Make-up). He participates on the student body and is
the University Student Spokesman and representative for
the Attributmakare Master's Program.
